  • Yea you’re not wrong. The Republicans are playing the long game here. They’re really getting involved with the youth, I mean just look at rumble for example and whatever other medium they’ve been using. The Democrats are virtually non-existent it feels like on the social networking side of things or maybe it’s just the Right is obnoxiously loud. It’s scary man, if they can mobilize and weaponize the younger demographic voters then what does that spell for the short term (2028) or even the longer term when their ideals are fully cemented and are less likely to be swayed unless a serious upheaval happens.

  • The transition from on foot to piloting the mech is soooooooo good. It really makes me feel like I’m in a giant hunk of metal ready to blow some shit up and it looks and plays amazing. If only a gundam game could ever be anywhere near comparable, but Bandai is just going to squander any title they release for whatever shit ass reason.

And like you said, the gameplay is amazing as well. It’s easily the best mech title of the last decade with AC6 as a very close second. If somehow they managed to combine the mech building of AC6 and the FPS aspect of TF2 I would never be able to pry myself from it.

  • Yea, most musicians are generally not that well off and have as much free time as you think. Most still work some sort of regular job to offset the cost of living and equipment because they won’t make the money they need to survive solely off of the money from gigs. They do it because they love it and not because they’re making tons of money and have ample free time. Their hobby is music, so whatever downtime they have from regular life, they fill it with playing and writing music. If you’re fortunate enough to be signed to a label, you’re on the road for months out of the year gigging and constantly immersed in your music, and that definitely isn’t a health benefit either. There is a thing down here called the Musicians Clinic - musicians don’t have a typical job and therefore don’t have access to medical insurance like they would if they worked a 9-5 with benefits, so it supplements that to keep them healthy.

Source: from New orleans, have family that plays music for a living, play live music myself, and know tons of gigging musicians.
