Yeah, the issue is I feel like there’s a significant population that bought VR for Alyx, lol. I can concede there aren’t a lot of AAA VR options, but it’s just frustrating to see great indie VR games not be recognized.

I wonder, how strong is the ebike market? I feel like I see more of them now than ever before, but maybe that’s just because I have one.

Nice, I’ll have to check it out and pick up something new, been looking for some new VR stuff to get into. I feel like it’s much harder to find new VR games than flat games. Feels like the Steam interface could be improved in this respect. Also probably doesn’t help that all the online discourse around VR is that there’s nothing worth playing except Alyx.

I remember seeing something similar, but from a quick search it seems that there’s a few conflicting studies. This one says it affects balance though, I think:

While recent works suggest that a virtual sensory environment alters visuomotor integration in healthy adults, little is known about the effects on younger individuals. Here we show that this default coordination pattern is disrupted by an immersive virtual reality framework where a steering role is assigned to the trunk, which causes 6- to 8-year-olds to employ an ill-adapted segmental strategy. These results provide an alternate trajectory of motor development and emphasize the immaturity of postural control at these ages.

I can’t say I understand the appeal of Google Play games on PC. I barely want to play mobile games on my phone - why would I want to play them on my PC?

Spotify and YouTube Music are the only streaming services I have found that make it easy to integrate songs that aren’t on streaming into your collection, and I don’t like YouTube Music so Spotify it is.
