Charlie is like Bernie Sanders and Bill Burr rolled into one. I love it. 😂
“How do you mentor someone over a phone? You can’t.” Ford said
We have literal suicide prevention phone service that does this, Doug.
The worst human beings ironically end up being the “best” people to work under Trump.
Friendly reminder that Trump is a child rapist and is purposely withholding the Trumpstein files from the public.
This decision is in line with an increasing number of organizations across the public and private sectors.
And? So??
Does this make sense for OPS or not?
They were masked, in plainclothes, and unwilling to show official ID or give a reason for kidnapping people.
This woman is a hero for “interfering” with their Nazi agenda.

Man, that mirrors a conversation I had with a city councillor. We are constantly in a budget deficit because you’d have tax residents to death in order to catch up to this wasted spending.
I’ve never rented a car so I’m curious, what benefits does checking-in early actually get you?
Nothing. Just like checking in early to a flight.
In fact, I can only see downsides and risks… for example, if something happens on your way to the rental company or airport, which makes it impossible to actually get the vehicle or take your flight.
“But you checked in, sorry!”. 😒
Municipalities … strapped for cash, and neglecting upkeep on aging pools, now face hefty renovation or rebuild costs — or closure.
If you are pissed off about this, let your municipality (and the region that your municipality is in) know that they need to STOP widening roads, and degrow car-centric infrastructure. And that all public parking should be paid parking.
You should also tell them that housing the homeless actually saves money.
It’s kind of infuriating that municipalities keep investing in money pits that will never bring a positive return to taxpayers or society, yet never have enough money for things like pools.
Demon Hunter - Collapsing from Killing Floor 2 was a real gem.
Super long leashes are bad on trails, but at least they are leashed! We have a lot of entitled dog owners in the area who let their dogs offleash on busy mutli-use trails.
I had one guy, in complete darkness, have his large German Shepard off leash. I was riding my bike, and his dog came out of nowhere from the bushes to my right at full sprint, crossed in front of me to meet back up with his owner. I can’t imagine the disaster that would have resulted if I ended up colliding with his dog.
plus I call out which side I’m passing on.
Me, too. It’s always amusing when pedestrians go to the side you’re calling 😱
Yeah, please don’t send our kids to a place led by a child rapist.
Interesting how it’s reported as a “man on a bike opens fire on pedestrians.”
Had he been driving an SUV, it would have been “Car runs into pedestrians.” 😬
Edit: fire, not fires 🫢
I once asked Gemini for steps to do something pretty basic in Linux (as a novice, I could have figured it out). The steps it gave me were not only nonsensical, but they seemed to be random steps for more than one problem all rolled into one. It was beyond useless and a waste of time.
They need to be big enough to have a resonating (?) “Rrrriiiinnngg” sound. It’s the length of the sound that allows pedestrians to locate you and the fact that you’re moving.
I like this idea, Unfortunately, handlebar real estate is a premium on my bikes and e-scooter, but I’ll see what my options are.
Anyone else having “issues” with pedestrians not understanding what a bike bell means? I’ve have at least a dozen people tell me that they thought it was their phone going off, or that they dropped something (I can see them looking at the ground, too!).
My wife’s e-trike has a bell that is multi-ring and is much more likely to grab someone’s attention.
I believe there are some with two-tone multi-rings, which are even better - they sound like a doorbell, so unmistakable on the trails.
These standards have also spread to more common fashion, advertising clothes for ordinary people.
No doubt.
If there’s a method for that, that actually works, that would be great.
First, block and avoid ads. They are poison to the mind. Dropping social media is also strongly suggested.
It’s hard to not fall prey to marketing companies if ads surround you on a daily basis, and I can’t honestly imagine how difficult it must be for any teen who uses the internet or apps unfiltered. It’s a losing battle if those influences aren’t dealt with first.
Yup, but I can see this happening as a regular reaction to unfavourable facts. Mind you, he was doing this back during the pandemic, so this is just following the trend.
I used to run software on an old phone that basically worked as a camera NVR.
At some point the battery swelled up and I’m glad my house didn’t burn to the ground. I only noticed it because the glass screen protector on that phone had popped off from the screen flexing under pressure 😮
As long as you have a way of monitoring your phones, or at least physically isolating them from important things, then you could probably do it without many risks.
