Like I don’t give a shit what happens to tucker, but if the main problem you have with Tucker Carlson is that he’s a “traitor to America” or whatever, you’re a shit fucking ally. Like I unironically think most cishet liberals would be fine with Tucker Carlson if he said all the same stuff he normally does except he ended every segment with “and remember to vote for Joe Biden” and stopped criticising Ukraine.

also also, according to my friends who’ve been on hrt way longer than me, epilating gets a lot easier over time because of the estrogen and stuff

also btw, dont do what i did and ignore the bit in the manual where it says to not use it on sensitive skin like the face, crotch or armpits - while it pulles out the hair it causes loads of very small cuts in the skin that hurt quite a bit and bleed a bit too. unfortunately you have to use a razor for those bits

I use the Braun Silk Epil 3 SE3270 on recommendation from a friend, ive only had it for about two months or so currently so idk how well it holds up in the long run personally but my friend says shes had hers for a few years and its doing ok. since it comes with a power cord you shouldnt have any problems with it running out of battery since its designed to be used while plugged in

i found that it could stand to be a bit better at removing the hairs but for the price its pretty good (also worth noting that i managed to get mine while it was on sale reduced from £45 to £35 so extra worth it for me, you can check here to see how frequently it goes on sale if the difference in price is a thing you’d consider maybe waiting for). its pretty painful the first time you do it but i found it was pretty easily manageable with the help of a little bit of rum.

oh ok, i stand corrected on that. the point still remains though that i dont see why people need to wait for lab grown meat to become affordable to just stop eating meat, when imo, even when its cheap enough it still wont be very good outside of certain things like burgers and sausages because of the texture (i.e. not being able to mimic how the fat feels when in between the flesh) not being able to match up to the original.

and even when it does enter the market it will probably only be available for like for upper middle class people for years and years

For the vast vast majority of people eating corpses is not a medical necessity or vital cultural ritual or something, (and no i dont consider just really liking the taste of flesh to be a cultural neccessity). Yes i’ve tried two of the lab grown meat brands out of curiosity (i think the first was beyond burger and the second one was an impossible burger) and both were simultaneously more expensive than the standard vegan/vegetarian and even the normal meat based versions of the food and tasted worse.

Like i dont think that consuming lab grown meat is evil or anything but I do think theres a lot of people who focus on lab grown meat being too expensive as an excuse for why they’re not vegan/vegetarian when its actually pretty mid, like i know a ton of vegans and i cant think of a single one who regularly eats lab meat, most have tried it a few times but no one really likes it too much

Just doing normal veganism is a far more realistic proposal than everyone eating expensive lab grown meat that tastes rubbish
