Lemmy moderation tools are of course lacking, but as the lemmy devs once said they arent even touching anything moderation related for “the future”.

You can set it to private so that only lemmy.world users can see and post things there. But “hidding” it for anyone like a unlisted post on mastodon is currently not possible.

Then it downloads a json containing your Blocks. It “should” be importable but i never heard any feedback about it. It can of course not block people that are in not federated instances.

I must say if an app doesnt work, mostly its intentionally by the devs, and that sucks. Especially on games with Kernel level spy… i mean anti cheat.

I would say GitHub copilot ( that uses a gpt model ) uses more Wh than chatgpt, because it gets blasted more queries on average because the “AI” autocomplete just triggers almost every time you stop typing or on random occasions.

we understand your frustration, but lemmy doesnt give us any alternative to that, as we cant block posts/comments from younger accounts easily.

The issues with the UI, that it doesnt give any real feedback is, sadly an issue with the LemmyUI, but it will be probably improved in the future.

We are looking into better alternatives to that, but until then we sadly have to stay on our current path.
We will be of course announcing if we found an alternative to that.

Its just a cash grab company that didnt yet collapse, because of its hype around it and its fanboiiiiis. And everybody supporting apple are just those who are deeply invested into that closed ecosystem. If apple dies out for any reason, they are screwed because their products are bricked without apple.
