I bought a hybrid honda civic last year which only has one gear, so no point in having manual transmission. Don’t really miss it, although I always liked the extra control stick gives.

One of our cats has the tendency to start puking once every one or two months, and then pukes liquids 4 times a day for a week straight. Another one likes to cry at random closed doors, loudly and often. I’ve already jokingly asked our vet if he would be able to cut the vocal cords. But sometimes I really consider it.

Or build more apartments maybe? The entire housing crisis in the US could be easily solved by adding sufficient apartments in the right places.

I don’t think Fico will veto that. Slovakia, and his governments, have been and still are very dependent on European money. And Fico needs EU funds to keep his cronies happy.

I just don’t see us switching our 17 datacenters to proxmox. Azure HCI, perhaps, but most likely we’ll stick with vmware, at least in the foreseeable future.

This is quite common in some languages. In Dutch they call plaster plates gyproc, tilt windows velux, a stick of glue pritt and there are countless other examples where an item is named, if not officially at least commonly, after a brand. And of course, also kleenex.

Doesn’t anyone check the dB an appliance makes? It’s one of the first things I check, as I hate loud devices.
