38·6 days agoMaybe they don’t understand why he wasn’t playing shows in the U.S. He was afraid that ICE might arrest attendees because most people who listen to his music speak Spanish and might look like what the administration thinks Hispanics look like.
The Superbowl is a highly televised event where tickets cost hundreds of dollars. Not too many people who don’t have good lawyers can even get tickets, so he’s not nearly as afraid of people being arrested there.
