I can’t fathom the idea of a multi billion dollar corporation having an employee arrested over $110 worth of fruit cups and chicken. It’s not like he was the mastermind behind an embezzlement scam or anything. Just fire the kid and take the $110 out of his last check.

Aside from it just being a shitty thing to do I would think the terrible PR from such a thing would be enough for them to not want to cause a whole scandal about it.

The smug look on that managers face makes the whole thing 100 times more disgusting.

Edit: it appears that this manager knew about the small thefts for months and never once gave the employee any type of warning or corrective action. They actually watched him and waited over multiple months for these minor incidents to FINALLY add up to over $100 so that they could have him arrested. Apparently they cannot involve law enforcement until the theft reaches a certain amount.

I disagree. There are plenty of very classy people who are neither rich nor part of the upper class. There are plenty of people who are in the upper class who not only are not classy, but who are actually quite crass and disgusting. Also there are plenty of so called “upper class” people who have lost most of their wealth and are just struggling to keep up appearances.

I’d say they are three very different and distinctive terms. They certainly can cross over each other a lot but that doesn’t make them all the same thing.

Hey no judgment here. I don’t hate Sleep Token per se, to me the bulk of what they do just doesn’t sound like “metal”. They’re good musicians and once I stopped listening to them expecting to hear metal I actually did enjoy some of the piano and vocals stuff and some of the more atmospheric tracks. One of the most recent albums I got really excited about was a black metal/flamenco crossover band from Chile that I’m sure most of the metal heads I know will instantly despise lol

I suppose it’s subjective I just don’t see it. All of their songs that I’ve heard were like 90% indie pop/dance/electronica and like 10% sort of metal-ish if you squint at it guitars.
