I deal with a lot of kids fresh out of college. The surprising part is how many don’t know what Windows File Explorer even is, much less file manipulation. Everything is saved to the desktop.

We just turn them sideways on a shelf at work. We use a lot of micro form factor and they look slick in a row on a 1u shelf. We fit 3 or 4 (can’t remember) wide across 6 shelves.

Bruh, all of this sounds creepy as shit.

A use it with web development by describing what I want something to look like and have it generate a React component based on my description.

Is what it gives me the final product? Sometimes, but it’s such a help to knock out a bunch of boilerplate and get me close to what I want.

Also generating documentation is nice. I wanted to fill out some internal wiki articles to help people new to the industry have something to reference. Spent maybe an hour having a conversation asking all of the questions I normally run into. Cleaned up the GPT text, checked for inaccuracies, and cranked out a ton of resources. That would have taken me days, if not weeks.

At the end of the day, GPT is better with words than I am, but it doesn’t have the years of experience I have.

It should not be this hot at 10:30 at night.

This raised an interesting question in my head. How would the community respond to a brand/corporation hosting their own Lemmy community?

There are a few businesses I truly would not mind having an official place for community discussion and feedback. But like, not the GAP or Hobby Lobby. Those guys can fuck right off. But I personally have to realize some people want those communities as much as I want the things I like.

So where on earth would the line be drawn between useful and spam?

I’m experiencing the same unread issue when marking comments as read to clear out my inbox. Everything just reappears as it was.

I thought it was cross posts at first, but then started checking that it was the same posts from the same communities.

So the easiest story is she faked it. Or at least let it go on way too long. She faked the call, grabbed a snack bag and headed for a bus station. Missed her bus, couldn’t figure out a backup plan and ended up wandering home.

The toddler part is strange, but don’t discount dumb.

The strangest part to me as someone who grew up going to the mall she worked in, where she chose to park the car on the highway makes absolutely no damn sense if you are trying to get away. There’s nothing but woods and the rich people. If she was running away for whatever reason, just drive to the bus station downtown and leave.

There’s got to be more than this. It’s just not sitting quite right.

I did a preorder bundle probably 5-6 years ago. Even with all of the absolute insane bugs and barely anything to do I feel I at least got my moneys worth of enjoyment.

I absolutely love the ship design and how the game feels. I haven’t revisited the game in awhile as I’m still using the same GTX970 now as I was then.

I know it’s never going to happen, but I still have a small bit of Star Citizen hype inside just hoping… one day…
