81·2 years agoYeah, exactly. Whipping out a charge of anti-Semitism against folks who just don’t happen to agree with how your government is handling their business is absolutely a slur.
73·2 years agoWe saw this same concerted effort to erode support for Biden in the last election by fake progressives lamenting how bad he is. They were bad faith actors propping up Trump then, and this guy is no different. Glad someone’s around to call him out on his BS.

They were called anti-Semitic because they wouldn’t shake hands, or they wouldn’t shake hands because they were called anti-Semitic? The article isn’t terribly clear on the order of events here.
She would turn 35 before inauguration, so she’d technically be eligible. Not speaking as to whether it would be a good idea or a bad one, but it’s possible.

2·2 years agoYeah I’ve been checking in on this since about '03 or so, it’s a trip. The original guy has since died, it’s being run by one of the few disciples he made. Near as anyone can tell, he was absolutely serious about it, and actually tried to debate people. There’s a pretty great Wikipedia entry on it here: Wikipedia - Time Cube

Universalism was a major, and at times majority, view in the first five centuries of the Christian Church. It’s still a strong, albeit minor, view in Christianity today, one which shows up in both the Orthodox and Catholic churches as well as a number of Protestant groups’ theology.
Well there’s a mental image I could’ve done without!
Imagine getting to watch Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and Jimmy Swaggart realize that God saved trans people, gay people, atheists, Jews, Muslims, Satanists, communists, vegans, and even people who still drink Bud Light.
Give me an endless supply of popcorn and I’m entertained for at least an eon or two.
