Poland gets ready to take Ukraine role
This is a major reason to use simpler technology.
I can’t help you, but i had a similar experience with similar technology. I spent lots of time recovering content. I succeeded, but i have software development experience. I didn’t want a repeat of that.
In the end I picked windows file sharing for home networking and filebrowser for occasional access to data files from outside of home networking.
Web dav is a very good alternative. Apache web server will be easier, but nginx can be made to work.
Joplin is another good alternative, which is based on web dav.
You can pay around $2-$3 a month to shared services provider for hosted web dav.
Has anybody seen him? He might be long time dead in Ukraine.
You can pay for dreamhost, namecheap or any other shared hosting plan that provides WebDAV. Some provide unlimited storage. I am not sure how realy unlimited it is.
Buy domain and host empty website. Turn on ssl using hosting tools. Dreamhost provides you with free certificate for that. Namecheap charges after 1st year.
Create directory on the website using hosting tools and turn on webdav on that directory. It can be password protected. Turn on password protection and disable public access using hosting tools.
That will give you a disk that can be mounted on Windows, Linux or mac without additional software. On iOS you will need an app like OwlFiles. You will have access to it From home or coffee shop. Anywhere. It will act as your remote storage and you can access it using Explorer or Finder. Most tools will read content of remote disk without any restrictions.
Create another directory and leave public access to have public sharing directory only you can change (keep passwords).
Create another directory or use one of your private subdirectory with application Joplin and you get free and open source notes and todo system. That system can encrypt all your notes with master password. I recommend it: https://joplinapp.org
The might be other apps…

Ukraine called all men and all draftable women to show up at military draft tracking locations.
That’s my loose translation.
Reason: allegedly to improve tracking of people.
My opinion: to replenish losses after disastrous summer counteroffensive.

Ukraine Is in Worse Shape than You Think

I could find non-English reports that personnel in some military units have been changed completely several times in Ukraine.
Some western leaders stated loss numbers far exceeding official Ukrainian losses.
Would you believe any data I quote?
So, there is no point for me to waste my time.
The downvote numbers clearly indicate the desire to hide this information.
Have your facts in check.
New York Times:
After Suffering Heavy Losses, Ukrainians Paused to Rethink Strategy Early in the counteroffensive, Ukraine lost as much as 20 percent of its weapons and armor. The rate dropped as the campaign slowed and commanders shifted tactics.

I just want to see control scheme.
I got what i was looking for.
All attacks are targeting airfields.
My guess this will render air support missions impossible for at least a few days.
Air support has the best chance to impact (to stop) ongoing Russian offensive.
It also has the highest chance to damage All available Ukrainian air power.
Name of plane like drones produced in Russia using Iranian license.
Noisy and slow, but cheap. I think original name is Shahed drones.
It is good to know, but it will only work until MSFT decides to enforce things.
Linux is s better alternative to have no ads.
Huge Ukrainian losses enabled Russian offensive.
Because Ukraine wasted all of its people in Russian meat grinder, under name of Spring, no it was Summer, no it was Fall counteroffensive, Russia was able to start its offensive knowing well that Ukraine can’t counter it effectively.
Ok, let’s just face it. Promised Ukrainian counteroffensive has failed after 6 months, killed tens of thousands of Ukrainians and accomplished less than Russian Avdiivka attack in last 2 days.

Russian troops have initiated a sustained offensive, effectively “encircling” the Ukrainian armed forces, as reported by The Economist.
After months of a slow Ukrainian counter-offensive, Russian troops commenced their own counter-offensive on October 9th, with a focus on the Avdeevka region. According to the influential British publication, this marks one of Russia’s most significant offensives since the previous spring. Its objective is to trap the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a dire situation, and whether or not Avdeevka becomes part of the Russian Federation will have adverse repercussions for Ukrainians.
In the event that Ukraine needs to fortify the Avdeevka front, it will necessitate relocating some of the forces currently engaged in the south of Orekhovo. This, in turn, will further diminish the prospects of achieving a breakthrough.

Statements in the above comment are not connected to reality.
It is good to know that this federated network is not any different than reddit.
At least the beginning of the article sounds better balanced than what i’ve seen here:
How can you claim of no ads on windows 11?
It is loaded with ads in start menu.
I have kids PC and I see that.
No, it is the 1st time.
Russia has accomplished its tactical goal of taking important local high point and applying pressure on the city itself.
The location is heavily reinforced with concrete after 7 years or so of fortification. But Russians have taken the place.
This article is just an attempt at damage control by claiming goals Russians did not set yet.
Russia doesn’t have to take the city. Supply lines are targetable by artillery. It is a perfect setup to bleed Ukrainian side if they want to keep the city.
Ukraine is set to loose either way: if they want to keep the city, they will loose lots of people. If they abandon, it’s a black eye.
Given what Zelensky did last winter, he will keep the city and send lots of people into meat grinder half of which will die trying to reach the city.
Only if there is such a huge vulnerability that they will have no choice.
That’s just my guess.
Promise of support is a tricky one.
