  • You are buying crappy water bottles. How often do you break a beer bottle? Those are much thicker than crappy water bottles. Acqua Panna bottles are even thicker.

I’ve never broken either one unless it fell on cement. Use cheaper glass bottles and stop dropping your bottles on cement.

  • Glass is much better because it has no taste. I would expect people to care about that if they use it all day. How often do you break a glass bottle? That’s the thickness of glass you need.

My grandfather has a glass Gatorade bottle he still reuses. That’s the kind of shit I expect from today’s hipsters. Do they even retro bro?

Or better yet, there are many dudes who look like a sack of crap but will absolutely destroy you at some athletic competition.

You will watch a dude twice your age whoop your ass at something, I guarantee it. And there will be nothing you can do about it. That 60 year old man is retired and has literally nothing else to do but practice. You came to have fun. This is his warmup.

  • creativity has been one of the first walls to fall

Uh, no? Unless you think unhinged nonsense without thought is “creative”. Right now, these programs are like asking a particularly talented insane person to draw something for you.

Creativity is not just creation. It’s creation with purpose. You can “create art” by breaking a vase. That doesn’t mean it’s good art.

  • See, the thing is it’s totally fine to be proud of being white. You can be proud of your family, region, native country, language, whatever. Plenty of people go visit where their family is from.

The problem is dummies (who actually know nothing about their heritage) thinking skin color means you’re better than someone. That’s probably caused by a lack of information about heritage. Especially in the US, black people are like 25% white. That means a lot of Southern white people have black relatives.

  • you can’t even confirm the man existed.

Well, that’s going a bit overboard. Unless you have someone’s mummy, you can’t confirm that any ancient person existed. Obviously some people existed, otherwise we wouldn’t exist.

The Bible is the most printed book in history. There’s more surviving written evidence that Jesus existed than some Roman Emperors. It’s just an atheist belief that Jesus “probably didn’t exist”.

Whether you believe he was a divine figure is different. But there’s more written evidence about him and what he believed than most people in history.

  • at the point AI becomes self-improving

This is not a foregone conclusion. Machines have mostly always been stronger and faster than humans, because humans are generally pretty weak and slow. Our strength is adaptability.

As anyone with a computer knows, if one tiny thing goes wrong it messes up everything. They are not adaptable to change. Most jobs require people to be adaptable to tiny changes in their routine every day. That’s why you still can’t replace accountants with spreadsheets, even though they’ve existed in some form for 50 years.

It’s just a tool. If you don’t want to use it, that’s kinda weird. You aren’t just “debugging” things. You use it as a junior developer who can do basic things.
