I have family that tried this because they “gOt a gUd dEaL!” on a wagon with car tires (part of their apocalypse prepping stuff) and ended up getting a mule because none of their 3 horses could stand the wagon.

There’s a slightly better balance with consistency for men’s clothes because styles and patterns don’t need to change as frequently.
That being said, it varies by brand and varies more when the brand is lower quality. Old Navy clothes might as well be sized “No way,” “I dunno,” “maybe, well, no,” and “Woah, way too big.” But something higher end like BR will be consistent with themselves on things like jeans that rarely change. All the people in some sweatshop in Bangladesh have the patterns down doing the same thing for years.
I started a new account a few months back and had to start building karma, so I was commenting a lot in the subs for new users. Every other day there was a post about “why can’t I post?” “Am I banned already?” etc. becasue reddit is trash, and I would respond explaining about karma thresholds and bots, and how reddit mostly doesn’t care about new people all that much.
I got a 3-day ban for “pushing an agenda” - which is backed by plenty of evidence that any mod of any community can see. But if you have an opinion that doesn’t work with a mod, out you go.
They also stopped support that allowed for easier development of custom ROMs a couple weeks back. So it’s not good news for custom ROMs. Either someone needs to form Android for good, or Linux phones are our next best bet.
Back in 2019 when the leadership changed, they moved to be 100% about advertising, which is why Google started going browser fingerprint tracking. Invasive is the name of the game. Within 6 months of that, they’re also locking down their entire ecosystem like Apples does, specifically to squeeze more data out for advertising. This isn’t an action taken in a vacuum.
