What this should mean is that too keep the wood from getting too much salt exposure, you should always sit or lay on a big towel which prevents your body from touching the wood.

Of course the experience is extremely sweaty, thats the reason to go there, so you’re correct on that part :)

The restaurant in my local Therme is in the Sauna area. Of course it’s not a naked restaurant, but a “wear a bathrobe or get something to wear” restaurant. But let me tell you: it’s really weird that there are people with clothes on around you in that restaurant. Not uncomfortable, but weird. And the sauna is a place to relax, so I really think it’s better that everyone has to be naked so that nobody can feel uncomfortable. For most people it might not matter, but for some people it does matter.

Can confirm the german part: In my gym there recently was an outrage because a Muslim member went to the Sauna with bathing clothes multiple times, which in the end resulted in his contract being terminated. Being naked in the sauna is almost the law here (but in the end nobody cares if you wear your towel or put it below you. Just remember: No sweat on wood!)

Deine Antwort geht um Durchschnittseinkommen, wobei ich auch nicht verstehe wieso 1250€ pro Monat für dich bei einem Durchschnittseinkommen als Unerreichbar klingen. Das Durchschnittseinkommen lag 2022 bei 2244€ Netto (und da ist Teilzeit mit eingerechnet). Wenn dein Haushalt aus zwei Personen besteht, hast du im Durchschnitt also 4488€ Netto zur Verfügung. Das ist mehr als genug, um 1250€ im Monat für einen Kredit zu stemmen, Sanierungen zu bezahlen und gut vom restlichen Geld leben zu können.

Grundsätzlich ist das unrealistischste daran die 1250€ im Monat. Bei einem 600.000€ Kredit musst du mindestens mit 2250€ pro Monat rechnen.

Aber wie gesagt, das hat null mit meinem eigentlichen Kommentar zu tun. Bei dem ging es ausschließlich um das Sparen an sich und nicht darum, wie erreichbar ein 600.000€ Haus ist.

Was ist denn deiner Meinung nach der gewisse Punkt?

Wenn du zB ein Eigenheim willst, kostet dich das in halbwegs okayer Lage aktuell mindestens 600.000€. Für den Kredit bei der Bank brauchst du nen Eigenanteil von 25%, das sind 150.000€ Du kannst mir nicht sagen, dass du durch “in Zukunft einfacher machen, an Geld zu kommen” genug verdienen kannst, um mal eben an 150.000€ zu kommen. Das geht nur, indem du entweder durch Familie an viel Geld kommst oder, indem du langfristig viel Geld zurücklegst (Aktien würde ich auch als Sparen ansehen, natürlich da mit mehr Risiko).

Oder siehst du das so, dass du nur so viel Geld zurücklegen solltest wie du für deine eigenen Ziele gerne hättest? In meinem Beispiel wäre das Sparen für dich in größerem Maß okay, während es für Menschen, die keine Ambition auf ein Eigenheim haben, geringere Limits gibt? Vielleicht 30.000€ für ein schickes Auto zurücklegen o.Ä.?

Sind natürlich reine Interessensfragen, weil es mich immer interessiert wie andere Menschen an finanzielles rangehen.

Ich persönlich bin der Meinung, jeder sollte damit so umgehen wie er selber für sich als Gut empfindet. Wenn man sich ausschließlich aufs Sparen konzentriert, weil man das Geld für eine hohe Investition in der Zukunft braucht, dann ist das vollkommen in Ordnung, wenn es dir damit gut geht. Ich habe einige Freunde, die seit Jahrzehnten nicht im Urlaub waren und damit vollkommen zufrieden sind.

This has nothing directly to do with The Day Before, but: Backing a Kickstarter is something completely different and that has to come into peoples heads. Preorders are for a mostly finished product that will 100% ship. The devs have enough funding from investors and publishers, the game will be released no matter how little preorders they will get. Crowdfunding however is for an idea in its infancy that might never be finished. Crowdfunding is an investment.

But where is the difference in this case, The Day Before? Well, easy: When you invest in a kickstarter, the company has to use the money you invested to actually develop the game. They can’t buy fancy cars with the money, they need to put it to good use. If the company uses the money for their own personal benefit, they can be sued for that. For preorders thats not the case.

1. There was no preorder
2. This was a Kickstarter Project where a lot of people backed
3. For years the devs didn’t give a lot of information to the backers
4. There was a class action lawsuit for scamming against the developers because they just took the money and didn’t do anything with it
5. Now they published something so they can say “here we did something with all of the money” yet it’s obvious that what they developed did not take years.

It’s pretty obvious that they only published the game in the current state because of the lawsuit. The game is a total scam and they deserve the hate from the people that invested a lot of money when backing. Backing on Kickstarter has something to do with trust. Of course, the project may never be finished and that’s okay. But it’s obvious here, that they just took the money and did not use it for the game.

Wie wird dem Problem mit Ausdehnung bei Hitze in Deutschland entgegengewirkt, wenn die Gleise hier im Winter verlegt werden?

I don’t get the hate for the Domino. It is an extremely useful tool to save time, but it is a purely luxury thing and there is nothing that you can’t do without it. After all, in the end a Domino is just a fancy dowel and you can build anything that is shown in those youtube videos with a cheap dowel-jig. I built complete tables with this jig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osC9T3WVnlM which cost me 20€ in a set with dowels, drillbits and woodglue. Yes, it took me 2 hours to do the dowelling which would have been 15 minutes with the Domino, but I am only building a table once every 10 years and not weekly like those Youtubers do.
