The cure is simple. Talk to people. Take two minutes out of your day and talk to someone about whether the asparagus is good deal, or if the buses should have music or could The Rock have beaten Humphrey Bogart.

You aren’t the only one. I was taking an upgrade class at work and another student saw me taking notes. The instructor told her that a lot of his pupils do something similar.

I’ve seen several articles that claim that taking notes with pen and paper helps people retain information better than taking notes on a keyboard.

Recent show, ‘Pine Gap.’ US/Australian electronic intelligence monitoring station. Political drama, and interpersonal drama. Supposedly getting a second season.

It doesn’t matter what I do. Like I said, the book might list twenty different jobs a person would be good at. Each job is unique, but uses similar skills. You use the same skills working on a hear/lung machine and making fantasy dioramas.

It’s funny because back in the day, you could go down to Wall Street on a Sunday and have the whole place to yourself. Today, there are lots of bars and restaurants and groceries.

I live in New York. The Wall Street area has been turning older buildings into living spaces for a while. One old office building became an NYU dorm, and the Woolworth Building [once the tallest in the world] is now luxury condos.

Well, that adds up.

The book comes in two sections. The first part is a series of self administered tests in different areas, and the second part is a list of jobs that use those skills. So, some one with good dexterity and good interpersonal skills might make a good paramedic, or a good hair dresser. Two wildly different jobs, but using the same skills.

I worked all my life, and always hated every job. Then I read the book and learned that I might be well suited for a position I had never considered. Took a course and did well, passed and applied for a job.

If you can wake up on a snowy Monday and not hate waking up, you’ve solved most of your problems.

Trump knows one thing. The only way he gets out of this is to win re-election in November. Until the election, everything else is a sideshow. His supporters don’t care how many times he’s convicted, they’ll just tell themselves it’s the ‘Deep State’ trying to derail their guy.

Realistically, no one ever cares anything about a pol once they’ve left office. No one thinks that old So and So was heroic because they have a bridge named after them. I’ve lived in NYC all my life and never once bothered to look up who Major Deegan [Major Deegan Expressway is a main thoroughfare]
