I’m just trying to build wealth and just entered the market, so I’m not too excited for me, but it needs to happen. It’s a basic necessity that the majority of people can’t afford, how is that okay? I will lose a bunch if the market crashes and probably never be able to achieve my goals, but its not very feasible right now anyway. I wanted a hobby farm, thats never going to happen regardless. Something has to change.

That’s very dependent on there actually being another way to get around. Public transit isn’t good everywhere, people still need to be able to go get groceries and things. Most people are not trying to cause inconvenience to others, they are just trying to live their lives.

Except the temp they were serving at was above regulations. They had been warned multiple times and got multiple complaints. Those regulations exist for a reason, this case demonstrates why. Because people don’t deserve to have their labia fused together because a coffee spilled in the drive thru.

Because abusive relationships force people to stay in them for reasons people who haven’t been in that situation could never understand. Seems you haven’t been, so you drag people who have. Women, specifically. Fun!

Why would I have someone live for free in my house who doesn’t contribute to the expense of upkeep? Ie, a freeloader. That’s what rent is. Sorry, a partner doesn’t expect their SO to pay their way for them just because they pay a mortgage payment instead of a rent payment. Add to that, now since it is a mortgage payment, any repairs and other incidentals are paid for by the owner as well. Does this person get to just break things and expect the partner to pay for it? That’s another thing rent covers. Why have a partner that is more expensive than being alone? Why have a partner at all?

Yup, actually putting the gun in a locked safe or maybe a trigger lock or a safety switch or taking out the bullets, nothing else would work… responsible gun owners are not a problem. Stop creating an issue where there isn’t one. Gun control isn’t just banning guns.

I really used reddit to lurk and scroll when I was bored. If I can’t use the app I’m used to, there is no reason for me to return. Especially with the way they have been treating the community, I havent been back for about 3 weeks. I downloaded a lemmy app and put that in the same spot as rif was, and I havent looked back.
