Instead, we should push other states to adopt our independent, non-partisan commission model across the country.
Lol, this is literally pushing Texas to do the right thing. It’s too late to ask nicely.

I’ve almost given up on just searching the whole internet for something. I either filter by eye for sites I trust in the results, or add a filter to the query. There are usually a handful of sites I trust on a given topic.
It won’t boot though, because the keys to decrypt the system are stored in the TPM.
Sure you could replace the whole OS, but that’s going to be very obvious and won’t allow you access to the data.
It’s plain cowboy logic
Now I’m probably not the intended audience, but if you told me you were doing something with ‘cowboy logic’, I think I’d be left with a very different impression than they were intending.
In interactive add mode you can use s

They adapted the Eschaton scene from Infinite Jest for their Calamity Song video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJpfK7l404I
The Wanting Comes in Waves / Repaid
Might be my favourite track of theirs
I was a big fan of their first five albums and then kind of slept on the later ones. I got a chance to see them for the first time a couple of weeks ago, so I tried to get caught up, and the later stuff is way better than I expected. They also put on a kick-ass show.
“The certification requirements of other jurisdictions may not be sufficient to meet the safety needs of Canadian road users due to Canada’s distinct driving environment,” wrote Sau Sau Liu, senior communications advisor for Transport Canada, adding that Canadian crash safety standards are tailored to the larger vehicles typically found on our roads.
We already have Vespas and Smart Fortwos. I think we’ll be okay.
global head of Core+ real estate
Do they actually name their business divisions like they’re streaming subscriptions?
It’s crazy how poorly photos convey the experience.
It sounds basic, but I just keep an eye on new album reviews and give things a quick listen (on Spotify usually) if they have some good reviews.
For things I like I try to buy it on bandcamp so I can put it on my jellyfin server. If it’s hard to find DRM free I 🏴☠️.
Downside is I miss out on non-album releases.
Fuck the US coast guard and how they handled this, but the headline is pretty misleading.
The coordinates given by the coast guard are indeed on the US side of the border. He says he was on the Canadian side, but it sounds like it was probably ‘near the US border’ more than it was ‘near Venise-en-Québec’.
near Venise-en-Québec, which is roughly 15 kilometres north of the U.S. border
If I measure on google maps it’s 7.8km to the furthest point on the lake, which is past the town. How do you get that so wrong?
Edit: to be clear, I’m not defending the coast guard. I just think it’s worth noting that we’re reading an article that seems to get the basic facts wrong.
There’s a death star on the other side of the fence.
Do you mean a pre-election coalition? That would be awesome, and would only need to be done once if they can use it to reform the electoral system.
I worry that the conservatives would be successful attacking it as ‘undemocratic’. Similar to how electoral reform referendums keep failing.
I think cruise missiles are generally autonomous, and these are remotely piloted?
That being said, the lines are going to get blurry. There will be all sorts of combinations of payload, propulsion, guidance.
There are also already a lot of names: drones, UAVs, loitering munitions, cruise missiles, etc.
I’m more experienced with graphics than ML, but wouldn’t that cause a significant increase in computation time, since those aren’t native types for arithmetic? Maybe that’s not a big problem?
If you have a link for the paper I’d like to check it out.
btdu
is an excellent tool for answering this question.
Any recommended reading for someone who’s never formally studied philosophy?
