I really liked the first game; had mixed opinions on second game, with the rumors Legion introducing microtransactions somehow on its release I didn’t even bother playing the third game.

I kinda wanted an ironic linux bashing community similar to banvideogames. Could be really fun.
Yes, I did. It tells nothing about why quitting it is bad, and just uses the argument “people spread misinformation”.
Guess what? The internet’s filled to the brim with misinformation.
If you dislike an instance, you are free to make an account somewhere else and block that instance. There’s nothing inherently bad with lemmy.ml; but check instance rules to see if you’d fit in it anyways.
What’s wrong with people wanting to quit masturbation?
whoops, I mistook 1 m³ as 100 cm³
There is an eject button for those inside to get out if something happens to you
In this case, when i die; the button will immeadiately get summoned inside the box only to be presssed an instant later
Just like every video game, your odds can be heavily rigged against you if the developer wants it.
Use this game as an example. No one’s going to recognise if the developer does intentional weighting (guiding the ball towards smaller wins via additional small vectors other than bouncing)
On a carnival game, game host could use a weighted die to rig the odds towards it? On a video game, developer controls everything.
This is quite an interesting work on really obscure hardware.
Keeping the air was a mistake but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be able to go faster than c.
break top
break bottom
insert shit ton of rocks
set gravity to 2g for faster gravitational acceleration
I have acquired rocks that can keep falling and build up velocity forever.
live life as usual; when I’m old enough to near death, aim for anywhere within the planet with said rocks.
Assuming I fill the 3x3x3 box half to half with sandstone and air; its weight will be 33kg.
If I live for 70 years more, assuming the gravitational acceleration is 19.72 m/s^2; I can generate stones that can go up to 156.8 billion km/s (or 145 times the speed of light)
Using the kinetic energy formula; I’m pretty sure unleashing this anywhere will be enough to destroy a huge chunk of the existing universe and in the end I’ll be the person to go out of the world with the biggest bang.
Well, specifics about the big bang is not known; but I’ll be its closest contender if it is correct.
Eat it all in one bite.
Crimean Tatar forced deportation was on such poor conditions that it could be considered genocide.
It’s quite rare to see a giveaway with no excluded countries. I wonder what will happen if a physical item winner turns out to be from a place that has banned sweepstakes.
I was using i3wm and have migrated pretty recently. Rewriting the config was much less scarier than I initially hoped.
I agree. Reminds me of the days I moderated a discord server, where I coded a bot to end the spam waves. Lemmy API has the endpoints for moderation too, so maybe a similar approach could be used here?
Let’s move it a bit further and introduce tags as detailed as vndb.
I’ve seen the sole examples of the sim swap attack happening in US. Has it ever happened in other countries?
As a Tatar whose grandparents were driven away from Crimea in ethnic cleansing conditions by Russia; I wouldnt want Russia to control there.
but again maybe i have a bit of personal bias idk
