Because you should be boostin’
But why would sorting by color solve that for me?
This feels more like an interesting solo hack together project on GitHub that one can take lessons from than an enterprise solution to any sort of issue or feature request.
The problem with this comic is that (evangelion spoiler)
the entire reason the angels are attacking humanity was manufactured by a few humans. Shenji is being forced to clean up his dad’s/NERV’s mess.
This comic is placing responsibility on and shaming Shenji, the stand in for a person who just wants to watch a cat video. That doesn’t really track to me.
I’m not saying folks shouldn’t do anything just because they aren’t directly responsible. But there’s a little bit too much shame in this post for my taste.
Once the rockets are up, who cares where they come down! That’s not my department, say Wernher von Braun!
I get this post and everyone’s comments here. You’re not wrong. The issues is we often have to go where people already are. It’s annoying, it’s inefficient, but ultimately the best tool is worthless if no one comes over to it. Classic chicken-egg problem ultimately.
You can edit titles here unlike reddit just fyi
While I agree that is not a great look, as long as they aren’t selling my location data and such I don’t really care. I only use it to go from a specific point A to point B, not look things up/find things.
I’m not casting blame. I’m just mentioning a limitation/something people should expect
I’ve been using Organic Maps for about six months now and I would say it is my go to for 80% of my trips. It’s pretty solid, but it definitely has limitations. One major thing you have to get use to is it doesn’t track traffic patterns at all, so you’re not always going to get the best routes and your trip estimates are generally off by a fair bit. I keep Apple Maps as my back up since I trust them slightly more than Google.
I like Organic Maps, but I am sometimes really surprised at the locations that are not on it that have been around in my city for several years. And I don’t live in a particularly small/unknown place. The routes can also be a little questionable at times, but I would say it works pretty well 90% of the time for me. Since I have small kids, I don’t depend on it if I’m at all questioning its ability to navigate me. But when I’m driving by myself I pretty much use it exclusively.
I don’t think it’s steep at all given what you’re getting and you don’t need to run it forever. Additionally, all the private competitors in the space are terrible and many are all but technically scams that make the problem worse while also charging similarly.
Keep em coming
Thought about this some more so thought I’d add a second take to more directly address your concerns.
As someone in the film industry, I am no stranger to technological change. Editing in particular has radically changed over the last 10 to 20 years. There are a lot of things I used to do manually that are now automated. Mostly what it’s done is lower the barrier to entry and speed up my job after a bit of pain learning new systems.
We’ve had auto-coloring tools since before I began and colorists are still some of the highest paid folks around. That being said, expectations have also risen. Good and bad on that one.
Point is, a lot of times these things tend to simplify/streamline lower level technical/tedious tasks and enable you to do more interesting things.
So many were forced but megustaperfect was amazing
To answer your question directly: The debate has been going on in the broader public since ChatGPT 3 dropped
To answer how you’re feeling: that’s valid, because a lot of big pockets seem to not care at all about the ethical considerations.
I’m still hung up on the whole “criminalizing having children” thing.
Station wagons and minivans were hardly compact lol
But yes many modern vehicles are ridiculous.
I definitely agree that some of these vehicles are ridiculous.
Who straight faced says NPC’s?
It isn’t 1999 don’t use that word.
