Microsoft looking to remove 60,000 jobs, ~25% of the company, specifically to contain costs around AI. Once again, the workers are held accountable for executive decisions. Socialize the losses.

This bubble is going to pop and then suddenly every tech company is too big to fail and every exec will be given a golden parashute. Atleas that is what the future looks like if we let them decide. I’d argue for some good French style justice and socialising profits and stolen assets

Let’s not get hasty. Maybe CEO Nadella’s bonus for this year will be less than $10 million. Imagine getting your annual bonus cut by a million dollars. Rich people feel pain, too. /s

The true socialization will come when they get tax breaks or even subsidies.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
