Welcome to the Fediverse. Wait until you experience federation issues where some posts or comments show up for other instances, but not for yours due to some unknown bug.
For example: If you visited this community using sh.itjust.works, the most recent post is from 3 days ago, even though I made a post here a few hours ago.
The only reason why I’m still here is because of my admiration for the idea of federated social media.
Well, it was worth a shot. I literally cannot watch it at the link but I’m not torn up about it.
I think it’s an ani.social thing. I tried visiting this post on my ani.social account and the GIF wouldn’t load for some reason.
Oh, whaaaaaaaat? Man, I keep running into little unexplained bits of jank across the fediverse. Thanks for solving it for me.

Sorry about that. I fixed the problem now and you should be able to see this post. Similar posts in the future should be fixed now.
If you have any problems with ani.social, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! :D

Thanks so much, I didn’t even think this was a fixable issue. I’m not used to even being able to contact someone for a problem w/ a social media site.
And now that I can see the gif… (ᅌ//ᴗ//ᅌ✿) oh myyyyyyyy
