    This was a long fucking time ago. like 30 years. At DragonCon rooms would be rented out and sex shows staged. You could just walk around with a drink in your hand and go from room to room and watch. The doors were open and people were coming ( so to speak) and going and the show was showing. God I miss my youth.

      Aw man, I’ve heard some stories about DragonCon back in the day, wish we still had con culture like that. Unfortunately the rise of “everyone having a tiny recording device in their pocket” really killed off that part of the culture (though one upside of AI is that it’s incredibly easy to deny leaked nudes are genuine). This show we were checking for 802.11 / 802.15 signals both as folks came in and in the crowd in general which was extremely nice (we have a lot of overlap with big defcon-y nerds who donate netsec expertise for the cause), but that’s a bit out of reach for most casual kinksters…

      Sigh. State of the world and all that.

      Lol. Local kink-burlesque show has a decidedly goth-y bias, and decided to lean into it. Very fun time! Though I couldn’t get any pictures of the performance itself (not allowed) :'(

      (And thank you! I felt powerful. Well, tall, I mostly felt tall (and horny), which I imagine is what feeling powerful must feel like. And just so long as I don’t look like I’m about to break my neck by walking off the edge of the stage, everything is going great)

          It’s a stylized routine based on a tango, but where articles of my clothing keep getting ripped in increasingly improbable and comedic ways. Not perhaps the worlds most original take on a strip tease, but I like to think we’re at least on the top half of the list. Seemed to go over well, at the very least.

            Whelp. It’s official that potatoes are the least sexy food. Food is not sexy to begin with and potatoes are the worse of it. Glad we figured it out together
