My Family’s Slum House | A Low-Income Family’s Reality in Vietnam
Hello , i am Chang I’m 21 years old, living alone in a big city without any financial support from my family.
This is the home where my family of four has lived for many years. It is old, deteriorating, and far from comfortable, but it is the place we call home.
In this video, I want to honestly share the reality of my family’s life. We are a low-income family, and our living conditions have been difficult for a long time. Growing up in this environment is the biggest reason I decided that I must work hard and become financially independent.
I’m not sharing this to gain sympathy. I simply want to show my real life and let you understand where I come from. Every video I make and every step I take is part of my effort to build a better future for myself and, one day, help my family live in a safer and more comfortable home. Keeping your living space clean isn’t a money issue, it’s a care issue. It takes nothing to wipe down porcelain bathroom fixtures.
Every family member works a job and the father has a disability. This is a prime example of how expensive being poor is. You may not have the time to do a deep bathroom clean or afford new paint to keep the mold from getting into the walls.
But yeah the space itself isn’t that bad compared to some. They just clearly lack the time/money to organize with proper storage, do regular maintenance and clean
