do you think the median is above or below the average? somehow i doubt theres proportionately more smart people or major outliers to skew the average high. its really hard to be that smart but you could always be stupider. so maybe theres actually people so dumb they skew the average lower than the median, so less than half of people would be stupider than the average, but only because theres some huge idiots skewing it.
People assume intelligence is based on IQ which is a metric intentionally made to be normalized on the general population. So in that case average = median.
However I agree with you, because I believe in the Idiocracy notion that dumb people (not just uneducated) will have more kids and skew the median lower than the average.
