Right now (11:30am Apr 15, 2026) there are helicopters belonging to the Austin Police Department, the Texas DPS, and the federal government flying loops over various parts of our city. Maybe they’re getting in training hours, I don’t know, but they don’t seem to be doing anything but wasting our taxes.
