Not sure what you’re expecting here.

I made a comment saying I don’t like the color scheme. That’s it. It’s a complete statement. I’m not the one who spawned a discussion over it.

            So, and?

                My exact reply was:

And their competitors offer every color you could imagine.

This is one sentence. If you call this a novel, your severe lack of reading skills can explain why this discussion is going the way it currently is.

I just told you about grey variant. Then you took it personally. Dont know who hurt you so much but you have to let go.

It’s a question of what you need and want. I have no rgb and no side window in my pc and generally do not care about the color of something if it works and does so how I want it to. I am a practicality centered person. For some people aesthetics are the most important part of anything they do. Those people are willing to sacrifice performance/practicality for something nicer looking. Both approaches are valid, but some companies specialize to cater to one of them. I do not have a noctua fan in my pc, but I plan to put one on my 3d printer to make it even quieter than it already is. It is always a matter of perspective.

You can be practical and also worry about looks. Its a false dichotomy to pretend people who buy a more versatile or aesthetically pleasing cooler are sacrificing performance - the aerodynamics do not care about LED or plastic colors.

And sure, you can also ignore looks. That’s not an issue. But I’m just expressing why I don’t buy products from Noctua: same performance as other competitors in price, but they deliberately go out of their way to mix the worse possible colors.
