Way to say absolutely nothing about what the show is about, while featuring none of the cast.

I can’t say I’d look forward to watching that every week to get me into the mood for the show.

Nothing? The whole thing is couched in a metaphor of new growth to represent the reopening of the academy and the importance of building a new generation. It says at least as much about the show as watching the Enterprise D zooming past a few random planets ever did.

watching the Enterprise D zooming past a few random planets

Oh, it showed the star, and the trek

metaphor of new growth to represent the reopening of the academy and the importance of building a new generation.

Oh so Star Trek, but without the star, or the trek.

I hate modern trek colour grading.

Tbh, many recent films the colour grading sucks. Unless it’s relevant to the landscape e.g. a yellow colour-cast on Arrakis is to be expected.
