Exactly. Usually it’s uncleaned clutter accumulating and filling swap. Linux, BSD, IRIX etc. are not affected by this.

In some cases it’s hardware which would affect other OSs aswell.

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
