We did this back in the 80s, under Reagan. Civil Rights was Russia. Environmentalism was Russia. The LGBTQ community was Russia.
US/UK/CA corporate fascists keep going back to the same playbook.
It’s all foreign interference. Don’t look at our oligarch class. Nothing to see here, look over there!
That’s not to say there’s no foreign interference but the effect of our own owner class is much, much more significant in everything that trasnpires in the country and affects our lives. And we have much more leverage over them than foreign actors.
