Supriya Dwivedi, who worked as a senior adviser to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, found the decision mystifying.

“It’s honestly mind-boggling why any Liberal government would invite a key figure involved in the horror show that is Project 2025,” Dwivedi told The Tyee over text.

    Whatever, dudes.

It would be helpful to talk to someone like Dr. 2025 to try to understand what’s going on in the minds of the Murcan oligarchs. Having the meeting in the open would have been much better than behind closed doors, where it’s now found to be held.

Maybe they shouldn’t have the meeting at all? Ever consider that Roberts might learn more about what Carney & cabinet are thinking, than our government would learn from him?

They’re meeting anyway. It would be nice if we had some transparency.

It’s more transparent than meeting in secret. Which they’re now absolutely going to do. Dr. 2025 backed out of this meeting because he likely didn’t like some of the attendees. Now we don’t get to know who he’ll be meeting with or any outcomes.

Hiding truth, sometimes outright lying, sure. Our number one priority should be electoral reform so we don’t end up as one more dictatorship.
