Somehow Filmation’s style grew on me over time. I remember, when He-Man came out. It was the first Filmation series i watched. Heck, at the same time shows like Thundercats were on and i didn’t understand why He-Man was so strangely animated.
After watching a few Filmation series ( going through Godzilla now ) i now know what to expect. Meanwhile it’s a treat, when i find unwatched Filmation shows.

Really ? that’s so cool. Idk how often i re-watched this episode, From the moment Burnham jumps off that asteroid and glides / maneuvers trough the battlefield always gets me high.
There’s a certain flow in the visuals, combined with the music and ongoing brabble between Michael and Spock that gets me hypnotized instantly.
I also love that last fight between Philippa and Leland, while the corridor keeps centrifuging slowly.
i really missed the info that purchases were to be gone after the move to ytm.

For some time now, every 5th or 6th card is an ad … And over time they slowly look just like the normal news cards.

Before YouTube Music, I purchased quite a lot of albums on Google Play Music. Paying normal CD prices, no renting.
My Google Play Music library consisted of 60% uploaded and 40% purchased music.
After my Music Library migration to YouTube was done ( this sentence alone, is enough doom and sorrow for any music lover ), my uploaded music was merged with my purchases and both were put under quarantine within the “uploads” tab.
No way to recognize purchases or even the possibility of downloading any of my uploaded or purchased music.

You made me remember these Tolkien films i saw when very young, never had an opportunity to watch again and completely forgotten. Going to rewatch now, you got me very curious, since also only now they are Rankin-Bass.
Yeah, Godzilla is pretty bad. I think it’s fair to say, that watching one episode is enough to get to know almost everything about it. I just find it interesting to see different stages of their animation style through the years.
