It has become my favorite editor, even though I don’t need or want the AI stuff. They do something that I do quite appreciate, that I wish other apps (looking at you, Firefox) would do:

In the AI section of the settings, the first thing is a toggle that turns off all AI features.
The people who are most upset by this use LTS Debian and won’t even see the current version of Plasma until 2050

I can see this becoming a problem: to know what happened on X, you have to listen to a person or organization with an X account, which by definition means they have no credibility.
