I’m 20+ hrs into it. The silliness just keeps ramping up, especially now that I’m collecting “Pound Mates”.

I work in a clinical setting where some Doctors are trying an AI program for generating their clinical notes out of the casual conversation between them and the patient. It’s way off its mark for what we demand in quality. It requires significant editing from the healthcare provider, and if the note is very robust it quickly becomes more of a chore than modern voice transcription. Our review is not great so far.

Wiki says they’re under ownership by Mad Catz, which made me think “Mad Catz still exists?”

I’m fairly behind in Stable Diffusion, but I know the “recent” SDXL update is much better with text generation than old SD1.5. I’ve upgraded my local install to SDXL but haven’t put in the time learning the new workflows. A lot of users seem to have left AUTO1111 behind for COMFYUI.
Harrlogos XL is a popular text generation LoRA for SDXL.
Not on it, but Primary Care clinical staff. Lots of people feel underwhelmed at the start. Some are more “slow and steady” than others. I would try not to judge the clinical results until after some time at 2.4mg.

Hell yeah, brother. I’ve been saying it since MH:World release. Just borrow that shit from the portable team. It has lots of shiny new stuff, but where is the robust co-op menu with a lobby list?

Lots of people giving Netflix a hard time for “getting into gaming” but they’ve been curating a decent mobile games library lately. It includes this and some other cool things like editions of Dead Cells, Shovel Knight, Bloons TD6, GTAs III, VC, and SA. It’s nice to have more mobile options than the same old ad-ridden, free garbage on Google Play.

Thanks, Uncle Facebook.

Rise/Sunbreak is no small game. The World game was the first built from the spin-off team, but you’re right that Rise/Sunbreak is from the “Portable” team. I love World dearly for so many reasons, but honestly Rise keeps the old school spirit going that World was a little lacking in. The flare shot or friends only multiplayer system (lack of lobbies list) sort of stiffles the community. This might sound lame to some people, but if you’ve ever made long term friends with strangers you met playing a game, you’re about 10x more likely to do that in Rise than in World imo. It’s just funner and more often has a sillier vibe when grouping up with others, and easier to regroup with them on play sessions days later.
Threads default settings are like an open fire hose of rage bait and negativity spraying directly into your face. It’s pretty wild without some manual feed pruning.
