      Entry level when compared to motorbikes perhaps.

      You’re not allowed to drive 750 watt ebike anywhere except your own land, especially in the EU. All ebikes here are either 250 watts, registered and insured as mopeds or illegal to drive.

      People with modified ebikes stand out like a sore thumb as they do those high speed flybys past grannies on the sidewalk.

          500w is the max across Canada

          The same applies for e-scooters, but you see loads of people on e-scooters that are 2000-5000+ watts going down regular bike paths! By comparison, a 5000W e-bike enters SurRon or e-motorcycle territory.
