  • That’s so real. I’m also AuDHD, and some foods are just a no-go. I also can’t do dishes because wet food remains and the sensory feeling of touching them, even with gloves, disgust me to the point of gagging.

    Adding chronic pain to the mix just turns it all up to 11 for you, I’m sure.

    Yay for husbands who keep us alive!


  • Dark and light therapy have been used for years with success, especially with people who have depression and bipolar. You can turn the intensity down with darkness (or at least by filtering the blue light out) and turn up the intensity with light.

    I have bipolar, and depression comes knocking every winter. I have Luminette light glasses that I wear every morning for 20 mins starting in late September and all the way to spring.

    I also have amber glasses to wear in the evening, especially if I’m feeling a bit hyper and need to come down.

    I’ve never heard of the TrueDark glasses, and you better believe I’m checking them out.
