Also breakfast is completely optional
Yes for some, no for others? When I was a kid I hated having breakfast. My stomach would feel weird if I ate within the first two or three hours of being awake. But now, I need something. Nothing heavy. Some toast and peanut butter is good enough. If not, I get sick to my stomach. I would assume I’m not the only one who is like this.
They must marinate it forever.
Pseudobulbar affect which could be caused by a psychotic break since they’re driving us fucking crazy.

181·18 days agoI’ve got an old car and it’s still like this. I don’t look forward to the day I have to get a new car.
I’m sure that is often the case. But with this series, Its this specific model. A friend of mine has the Asus M32 from the previous year and he was able to get mint installed without any issues. Just bad luck with the model I bought. It’s always given me headaches so not being able to switch to linux tracks
Unless you have an Asus m32cd_a_f_k20cd_k31cd motherboard. I’ve tried EVERY bloody configuration in the bios possible and several different distros, and they all crash / freeze during installation. Fuck you Asus 🤬

People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•Blood is blue until exposed to oxygen
6·29 days agoAll the people replying to you arguing that you can’t trust the internet because of AI and Algorithims… this too is a skill issue. Stop going to Google or MSN or Yahoo There are search engines that don’t use algorithms or AI, and others that don’t use algorithms and you can turn off the AI.
It also helps to understand WHERE you are getting your information from and use watchdog sites that can tell you if a site is a reputable source or not. Heading over to I’Mright.com isn’t going to help you unless you’re looking for confirmation bias.

People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•Blood is blue until exposed to oxygen
18·29 days agoI had people arguing with me about blue blood long after the internet was available to everyone. I wouldn’t ever tell them they were stupid, but I would say, “I don’t think that’s right” and they would usually say they learned it in biology or a science class in high school and I would say, “that still doesn’t sound right. We should look that up later when get home to our computers” and then They would look at me like I was the idiot for suggesting they were misinformed in school… because you know… school teachers NEVER misinform their students… like ever 🙄
Speaking of misinforming your students; shout out to Miss O’Leary for saying Russia could Invade Canada with Tanks because we were landlocked during the colder months via the arctic.
I wasn’t a regular viewer but I remember some kitchen reality show where you had to beat everyone else in cooking competitions and the prize was you’d work for Gordon. At some point, one of the contestants had enough of Gordon’s patronizing bullshit and challenged him to a fight and Gordon looked at him like he was a stupid child. But Gordon knows what’s up. If you act like an asshole for long enough in a Kitchen, someone will fuck you up.
It wont be ten times lower. I promise. I’ve researched this. Old Fridges only cost a bit more to run. Factor in the cost of buying a new fridge you now have to buy every 5 to 10 years and you actually come out ahead. My uncle’s fridge costs him 3 dollars a month to run. That’s not that bad.
Old fridges don’t cost that much. My uncle’s fridge costs him 3 dollars a month to run in Quebec. Compare that to a new fridge. There’s not that much of a difference. The whole “energy efficient” narrative is borderline bullshit when it comes to fridges.

29·2 months agoAnd we’re still talking about Kent State and UNM today as it had a serious affect on the country. But the sad part is, if something like this happened today, a third of Americans would blame the victims. Fox News would tell lies about what actually happened. And it would be swept under the rug and forgotten about by Christmas.

This reminds me. I need to call my uncle and ask him about that Fridge at his country place that’s been running since 1994. He’s selling his place and I want that fridge!

2·2 months agoIn terms of its physical size when it was still in print, the newspaper did adopt a compact, tabloid format. This could be the reason people think it’s an actual tabloid. Using that format is a great way to get many people to look down on your publication.
As Far as credibility goes, they are left center (so not as unbias as they could be) and they have been known to misreport things… but who hasn’t?
Media Bias Fact Check gives them a rating of “Medium Credibility” https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-independent/
That said, compared to News here in Canada; CTV, CBC, and Global all have a better rating than the Independent.
