A good option, if you want that kind of story, is to give a reason for your character suddenly becoming weak again. Maybe they have a traumatic brain injury and have to relearn things. Or maybe they somehow get switched into a new body and nothing is quite the same. In TTRPGs the possibilities are almost endless!

3·2 years agoI don’t see it like that. Many people have two accounts: one for SFW content and one for NSFW, even on something centralized like Reddit. It makes a lot of sense to keep them on separate instance bubbles since NSFW filters don’t distinguish porn and classical art.
Yeah, many instances are strictly SFW. Which makes sense and seems fine to me, tbh.

1·2 years agoUsual use case is just privacy or sometimes getting around region-locked content. I personally have very sadly switched away from Mullvad as well due to the lack of port-forwarding. My ISP does not allow it and I use it to play certain games with friends (I do not want to pay to host a server to do something once a week).
I didn’t realize how much I prefer the typical lemmy style UI until I tried this! I do miss endless scroll though. And the image resizing by click and drag (though I assume that’s an RES thing).
I heard about the whole “if-else vs switch” fiasco, but I didn’t know he did this in place of a single modulo operation. Brutal!

Turns out I did not try enough instances! Piped.lunar.icu threw a certificate date error and piped.yt threw a js error (or semething). Piped.video works fine!
This is on PC.
