Probably a house made problem, given that FOM fired multiple directors a few years ago to cut costs. Good directors are very specialized TV production people, and therefore have a big money worth.

Somehow it entered the common memory that Vettel was the goat of Grill the Grid, when he only won one year. Maybe Mandela effect.
But yes, he is very knowledgeable about F1 history. I think it comes down to the fact that FOM Media come up with very different challenges and tasks every year, so some - like “how tall are all the drivers” - are not as beatable with that knowledge.
For Hungary it is tradition and Hungarian ceramic is world wide renowed. For Zaandvort I have no idea why though
Hadjar channeling his inner Gasly here
Statistics tell us that people who break trophies go on to win multiple races!
Interestingly, it sounds like it is Andretti (TWG) who are pushing for this - not just Herta’s personal team. If Herta does a season of F2 in 2026, he could then step up into a Cadillac seat for 2027.
I was like “huh” for a second there before I understood
So they think it’s not worth it having the drivers do sim in a car design that will become obsolete within a short time because of continued development and rule adjustments? Fair assessment, I guess, but weird in that all the other teams seem to come to a different conclusion
Checo was definitely done dirty, but IMO he genuinely had a few stints of poor performances in his time there. At the same time he was a good number 2 in other stints.
It is a fact that most drivers of their generation have struggled somewhat with the current regulation cars.
Bottas’ 20 poles stat, oof
I mean, it is highly unlikely that Cadillac will qualify in a position where a grid drop matters much, in their very first race
The team’s official name will become ‘McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team’ from next season.
Boo!
A heritage team like McLaren or Ferrari should not do title sponsorships IMO.
Why does it look like they’re underwater? Is this supposed to mimick impressionism drawing?
I really enjoyed the Grill the Grid segments this year. They had some really easy ones where it was possible for multiple drivers to get full points and then this one, which is quite hard.
I personally wasnt able to guess multiple races of the ones described here.
Seeing Albon and Piastri equal on points for three rounds in a row also was exciting, so be prepared for the fact that this episode decides the Grill The Grid title.
That would be good to know, yeah. The team principal statement emphasized that this is the driver pairing for the debut season, so could be 1+1?
And for completeness, Lemmy will also support post tags in its 1.0 release
