I can’t recall ever having shitty teachers in public schools up until uni. In fact, I got amazing teachers who cared and sometimes went above and beyond. None of them came to school drunk, save for one uni teacher who was also named the top surgeon in my city. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t mind a job, but I do have a fear of having a shitty job.

I have never understood this idea that you need to see some sort of opposition to know that you’re of the right opinion, rather than value insightful opinions that may, for example, take on root causes or offer more nuanced takes, or whatever other mechanism that pushes our views in a meaningful direction. This is where Lemmy excels. Pure opposition for the sake of it only results in meaningless arguments and turning the same wheel of discussion that has been turned for ages in online spaces where someone gets attacked, and nobody changes their mind, imo.

Money + downtime + not very smart?

People say that Building 7 was the bees knees and Building 8 ruined it. Building 9 never existed, and Building 10 was promised to be the Building to end all Buildings. So anyway, Building 12 is coming soon.

All of these have produced a few books each, found in a very public and open archive run by some woman named Anna. I don’t think they’ll be going away that easily.
