90% or so of HK is fine, and it’s the remaining 10% that’s a true ball buster.
That makes sense. I do like my trophies and good endings so I’ll give it a solid try. But yeah, not everything is for everyone, I’m no stranger to enjoying a game I know I’ll never play watching someone else go through it; all fine and dandy in my book.
I’ve been holding off on Lies of P for like a year but this is it! I’ll have to clear my schedule a bit to dive in properly, so juuust a little longer…
The great thing about being a patient gamer, (hopefully)there’ll be just a short wait for me!
For what it’s worth, I haven’t found anything in it super difficult and I’m by no means “a good gamer”, the “souls”* recovery mechanic is not bad; but if platforming is not for you I guess that’s enough to stay away from it,… (I also haven’t found it terrible, and I’m prone to mistakes , ha.)
I’m not sure how far along I’m in it, so perhaps I haven’t reached the turbo hard stuff yet? maybe it gets insane later… I went blind and know nothing apart from what I’ve seen. So far it’s been an excellent experience, the game checks all the boxes for me.
*there is a different mechanic in the game tied to the term soul but I’m refering to the corpse thing here
Been playing a bit of Hollow Knight again. The world is so incredibly vast and beautiful. Got to the distant village and found one of the dreamers, Herrah.
Humm hard to pick, my recent top two favourites are
The Legacy of Bhaal (BG3) https://youtu.be/kbQQAg3IPM8
Lord of Frenzied Flame (Elden Ring SOTE) actually, this whole OST is insanely good. Base game slaps as well
(Some) videogames are just another way to consume stories. their interactive nature makes your imput as a player matter, and if the story is good, (like with any other medium) you get invested in the characters, the world and what happens to those as you progress through the story.
The Witcher 3 is probably the game I have cried the most while playing. From the opening cinematic I shed tears because I found it so beautifully made, I cried when Geralt reunited with Ciri, I shed angry tears when I found a particularly gruesome crime scene during a quest.
When Vesemir dies, all the tears
When I thought Ciri died, tears again
The fucking Velen OST makes me cry sometimes.
And I’m only taking about base game here, I haven’t finished any of the DLC’s… Which I know are fantastic so there are still more tears to cry, so… I think I’m gonna go play just now.
“Ahh, Kos, or some say Kosm… Do you hear our prayers? As you once did for the vacuous Rom, Grant us eyes, grant us eyes. Plant eyes on our brains, to cleanse our beastly idiocy.”

The voyager app for lemmy has a selection of them for you to quick access.
I use the voyager app to browse and it has this little text faces that, imo, are better the emojis. ~(つˆ0ˆ)つ。☆

Yess! Bloodborne parry windows for everything ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ
Good advice! I’ll make somw test pieces and see how it goes
I wouldn’t have imagined. Never used it and thought it wasn’t really popular anymore. I thought Tumblr would be an option instead…
Thanks, this is the kind of stuff I was not so keen on researching, but now that I have feels less weird :p
Hahaha I was about to drop my latest selection of jams to draw to… How uncultured of me.
Yeah, this is an elegant solution :)
