Any NDP leadership candidate “might be the answer to the banker Mark Carney”.

No, they should just not be allowed to prevent their children from being vaccinated.

The conventiongoers are shills for corporations that have captured the government. Lets not kid ourselves. This is not about understanding science.

Ban them in front of schools or universities? It’s surprising how difficult the concept of freedom of expression is for some.
I am a longtime user of Linux and I am pretty normal. All the Linux users I know are also pretty normal. If there’s a Linux user that is not normal, it’s not because of Linux.
To someone who might benefit from dropping Windows for Linux, I would argue that it’s free, it’s much simpler, no one will try to sell you anything, you can let it do software updates in the background and you won’t be abetting genocide. Or billionaires.

Right, whereas Charles is morality incarnate.

When the government refuses to negotiate in good faith and instead imposes a contract unilaterally killing collective bargaining with the notwithstanding clause, you bet it’s cut and dried.

No, they get people who are willing to work for less and in worse conditions in the jobs the teachers are quitting. It’s exactly what they want.

I don’t disagree, but one thing is back to work legislation and quite another to kill collective bargainng altogether and impose a contract unilaterally invoking the notwithstanding clause.

They simply do not negotiate. They don’t know how to.

She tries to frame the classroom size issue as a teacher safety issue. It’s not. It’s a quality of learning issue, which is not in the conservative vocabulary.

As if American cars weren’t already surveilling you. And who cares if Chinese vehicles are subsidized or not. (As if American car companies weren’t heavily subsidized. I’m old enough to remember how they were bailed out during the 2008 financial crisis). All this is just pretext. The reality is that Chinese EVs are cheaper and far better, and yes, they would be very successful because of you know, competition. I can’t wait to get my hands on a Chinese EV.

The Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal. This is not complicated.
What is outrageous here is that Canada is arming Israel, while selfrighteously denying it. https://ploughshares.ca/canada-under-contract-to-supply-the-idf-with-artillery-propellant/

I am old enough to remember the bailout of the auto industry in 2008. Cry me a river about Chinese subsidies. I am also aware of how regulations are tailored to encourage the production of highly inefficient gas guzzling vehicles.

Ah yes, Michelle Rempel, the Honourable Member for Oklahoma.

Your eyes are fine. It’s AI that can’t be trusted.

Something like filing a tax return is a huge barrier for low-income people who very likely do not have the necessary access to or experience with computers to do it, and consequently miss out on precisely the benefits that they need. But … like most Liberal social measures, it would be great if it wasn’t just a small, token gesture. Like their proto- pharmacare and dental care programs, which were like pulling teeth for the NDP, and were only very grudgingly conceded to keep the Trudeau government alive. Personally, I am tired of downloading my tax slips that the government already has, and having to pay someone to do it.
Itś corruption pure and simple. They are knowingly lining the pockets of their associates with ou r tax money.
